  • Yes! For now, Sarah is only licensed in Maryland so you need to be in the state of Maryland at the time of appointments. To ensure a smooth appointment, please be in a location with a reliable internet connection and refrain from driving during your visit.

  • Yes! We are in network with:

    • Carefirst BCBS

    • Cigna/ Evernorth

    • Aetna

    • Carelon Behavioral Health

    • Ascension (SmartHealth)

    Insurance coverage varies by plan. Prior to scheduling, patients are encouraged to review their mental health benefits, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.

    Self-pay options are available for individuals who prefer not to use insurance or whose plans are out of network. Payment is due at the time of service.

    Psychiatric evaluation (60 minutes): $250

    Follow up appointments (25 minutes): $160

  • We partner with Headway for insurance billing. Prior to scheduling your appointment, you will get an email from Headway asking you for your insurance information. You may ask them questions about your insurance eligibility and benefits.

  • If you need to reschedule an appointment, please email and Sarah will do her best to reschedule you within a similar time frame. In general, 24 hours notice is required in order to avoid a late cancellation charge.

    Failure to appear for an appointment at the time reserved for you will be billed to you at the full appointment charge. If you arrive to your appointment 15 minutes late, this is considered a missed appointment, and you will need to be rescheduled.

  • Prescriptions are submitted during our appointments with the correct number of refills to last until the next appointment. Regular visits are required to continue your prescription.
